Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about April 30, 2015 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations approximately sixteen (16) feet, ten (10) feet six (6) inches and nine (9) feet three (3) inches above the ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.
