Complaint What Happened Admin Recovery has been contacting me numerous times on a daily basis. If I do not get the chance to answer the phone call, and I transfer it to voicemail, they will call back again. If I do that again, they will call again. They have contacted my sister, brother-in-law, father, mother, business partners ( coworkers ), mother-in-law, and wife. They continuously still contact them even though my family members have stated they do not wish to be involved. They have left me voicemails stating they know I am the vice president of sales for XXXX XXXX XXXX and they need me to voluntarily resolve this debt willingly. They have left voicemails that legal actions will be taken if not resolved. XXXX they contacted me 3 times from a number, and once from a unknown number. XX/XX/31 called me 5 times, 4 being an unknown number. XXXX called me 4 times. XXXX called me 5 times. XXXX called me 3 times from unknown number. I have copies of all the voicemails as well.

Complaint What Happened . months later my home flooded, as did much of the surrounding area that i live in, and insurance would not cover it. I had to stop payments on several things including this furniture acct in order to not lose my home and rebuild three rooms in my home. In XX/XX/XXXX this account went into collections and i set up payments with Admin Recovery to pay this off. the payments came directly out of my checking account each month until this month, XX/XX/XXXX. The reason i stopped payments was due to the balance on the statements. I realized, yes i should have paid attention earlier and did not, the balance every month as on Admin Recovery 's statements is {$2500.00}. The same amount on every statement which is n't even the amount I originally financed. To make matters worse, I checked my credit on XX/XX/XXXX due to being subjected to the XXXX hackng issue, and saw that on my credit report the balance has n't changed either. It states the higher amount there as well and does not reflect any payments at all, even though i have been paying a year now. I called my bank and stopped payments on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with a supervisor at Admin Recovery on XX/XX/XXXX and explained all of this to him. I also told him they will not get any more payments automatically drafted from my account and that I am investigating this further before they get anything and that my hope is to just start paying XXXX XXXX again directly. The only comment the supervisor gave me is that i need to do what i need to do and that they will not give me a balance update until the account is paid in full. That is ridiculous! How will I know it if it is paid off, how long i have, what is left? When i originally set up the payments the man on the phone told me it would be paid off in XX/XX/XXXX, at the amount i am paying a month and this inflated amount that would never happen. Something suspicious is going on here. How am i not allowed to know the balance?

Complaint What Happened I spoke with this company back in the summer of XXXX and told them to stop calling my friend about this collection. The person I spoke with told me that when they ca n't get a hold of the debt holder that they call any numbers associated with their address and assured me that they would stop calling my friend. I have recently discovered information that makes me think my payments are not going where they should and stopped those payments last week. They began calling me and they same friend. I spoke with a supervisor on XXXX to discuss the issue of my money and the payments and also brought up again that they are calling my friend. The supervisor assured me that the only number they had for me was my cell. I explained to him what i was told the year prior and they she just told me they called her again and he assured me they did not do that. Now today, XXXX my son, who is a minor, tells me he is now getting the calls and voicemails from this company. I have instructed him to leave the voicemail and the phone number in his history in case they deny it again. They have a working number for me, and I even spoke with a supervisor last week and told them why i stopped payments and what my next steps are and they are now embarrassing my friend and MY CHILD.

Complaint What Happened Despite a {$0.00} balance and oweing nothing to the store, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are knowingly reporting false information to the credit bureaus. I have called XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX DOZENS of times to to resolve the issue. XXXX XXXX was closed due to XXXX around the time of the incident and I was not able to contact XXXX until almost a year later once they reopened their physical location. XXXX XXXX once reopened acknowledged the mistake as well as provided a statement and email showing the correction and {$0.00} balance on account. This email and statement was sent to me in XXXX of XXXX but failed to do their due diligence to correct the negative impact it caused to my credit profile. Despite XXXX correction, XXXX XXXX continues to report negatively and reported the account as charged off as well as a {$250.00} balance. I have dealt with nothing but incompetence for XXXX years. XXXX furnitures XXXX XXXX XXXX reached out to XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX multiple times to help correct the mistake.He responded by email but gave up once XXXX XXXX was unresponsive. XXXX XXXX ignored this communication. XXXX XXXX, XXXX I walked into XXXX XXXX XXXX bank to speak with administration, and was given the operations XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. He then called XXXX XXXX from stores land line to retrieve a letter stating the balance was not a charge off, not late and a balance of {$0.00}. XXXX XXXX stated they would have to verify the stores " merchant number '' to pull information. They did not call back. The mix up occurred XXXX years ago and I have been dealing with this for XXXX years. I have been denied loans and been impacted continually. This has gone on far too long. Around XXXX of XXXX an incorrect furniture delivery was made and returned ( picked up ) by XXXX XXXX shortly after. Im assuming They were negligent in relaying information to their servicer. This was at the start of XXXX. Everything was shut down and no one was responsive to calls. Once reopened, XXXX did acknowledge and attempt to communicate with XXXX XXXX. Now Ia m being told " admin recovery '' collections company is also reporting this.

Complaint What Happened CFPB, I lost my job back last year and my unemployment ended so I had no income at all and fell behind on all bills and XXXX XXXX just kept piling on fees, so no way I can pay it. I am twice widowed and insolvent. I sent a cease and desist letter to XXXX through IL Attorney Generals office months ago and now they sold the debt to a crooked collection agency ( Admin Recovery/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) who is harassing me by phone and mail!!! Complaint What Happened this number has continued to call me since i have received this number XX/XX/2015 ... they are looking for someone name XXXX ... on XXXX XXXX, 2015 at XXXX XXXX central time the number that states admin recovery at XXXX called asking to speak to this person, i advised the woman asking that she had the wrong number and not to contact my home again ... there soon after she called back on a toll free number at XXXX at XXXX stating " is that her, '' then not saying anything else ... i advised again that they had the wrong number and not to call back ... again on the XXXX XXXX, 2015 they called again from XXXX at XXXX i answered and no one spoke, i told them i was on the " do not call list, '' and that i would be putting in a complaint if they continued to call back ... XXXX, 2015 at XXXX they called back, i did not answer ... i figured answering the phone would help since i have beenreceiving annoying and harassing calls since the XX/XX/2015 with complete voicemails looking for someone i do not know and does not live here in my residents ... i would really appreciate if they did not continue to call ... thanks!
